Your role: to help pets through personalized, loving grooming care

You must be skilled in bathing, brushing, blow drying, various shampoo and coat-conditioning treatments, shave-downs, safely removing matted fur, and functional haircuts for dogs and cats. You will help educate pet parents on the importance of grooming and must recognize and report any common health issues (ears, skin, and the like) to our medical team.

We believe grooming is an essential part of pet health and can be transformational. We have a private, quiet, cozy grooming suite with lots of natural light and a hydraulic grooming tub and table. We’re all about happy visits in a low-stress environment: gentle handling is a must.

Your role: to ensure all boarding pets get the best care and compassion

Kennel assistants feed, water, walk, monitor, and administer medications to boarding pets. You must do exactly what each pet needs, record all information precisely, and report any issue to the medical team immediately. You will also text pet parents with regular updates and photos.

Kennel assistants ensure each boarding pet gets the right care, such as exams and vaccinations. You will admit and discharge pets, give basic baths and nail trims, assist with certain procedures and treatments, hold pets per Fear Free protocols, and maintain the cleanliness of our hospital.

This is an integral position helping pets, pet parents, the team, and our veterinarians. Especially as we grow, you must ensure pets and pet parents have a good Eno experience.

Your role: to assist in all manner of expert care and always go above and beyond to provide the best preventative medicine and treatment for both healthy and sick pets

You’ll create happy visits per Fear Free protocols, educate pet parents on best care and treatment options, and facilitate strong, ethical, kind communication.

Vet assistants perform lab work, vaccines, various treatments, laser therapy, and radiographs. You’re also responsible for drawing blood, placing IV catheters, performing dental cleanings, assisting with surgery, and monitoring anesthesia and recovery.

If you have some experience and are eager to grow, we actively support a strong desire to learn and build on your skills and knowledge.

An RVT is a highly trained professional who works alongside veterinarians to give each patient the best care.

Your role: to provide all manner of expert care and always go above and beyond to provide the best preventative medicine and treatment for both healthy and sick pets

In addition to all Vet Assistant duties, an RVT performs diagnostic procedures and administers certain expert treatments. An RVT is specially trained to monitor high-risk patients during and after anesthesia, responding quickly to any danger. You will also help train the medical team in all aspects of best care.

To be credentialed as an RVT in North Carolina, you must have graduated from an accredited program (as designated by the American Veterinary Medical Association Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities, or AVMA CVTEA), have a passing score on the Veterinary Technician National Exam, and have passed the North Carolina Veterinary Technician State Examination.

You’ll clean rooms, kennels, and treatment areas between patients; clean our surgery and dental suites; clean and wrap instruments and surgical packs; intake inventory; stock rooms and treatment areas; draw up vaccines and set up labs as directed by the medical team; check in pets for assistant visits and hold pets per Free Free protocols.

Your role: to train and manage team members in all manner of best care.

You must coordinate, direct, and oversee all patient care and compassion. You will set and maintain the highest standards of care, plus ensure continuity of care. You must ensure the entire medical team is well-trained, cohesive, and efficient, and that team members understand and are compliant with all protocols and checklists.

The DMS needs exceptional communication and organizational skills, both attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture, and the talent to both lead and listen. You must be professional and confident, treat everyone with respect and kindness, be a team player, identify and resolve training and performance issues, help create new protocols and update existing protocols to optimize care and efficiency, work well under pressure, and enjoy a fast-paced environment.

Experience is a must. Essential medical skills include blood draws, IV catheter placement, dental cleanings, treatment administration, and anesthesia preparation, monitoring, and recovery.
